Pope Francis is Wrong to Support Same-Sex Civil Unions According to 2nd Peter 2:5-7

Image
It's really something when Pope Francis really says one dumb thing after the other . Vicar of Christ? Well, he really isn't showing it. The doctrine of papal infallibility means that the Pope is spared from doctrinal error . Unfortunately, supporting same-sex  (even if it's a civil union) is a doctrinal error. How do you know doctrinal error? It's because human authorities and church tradition must be filtered by the Scriptures. That's what it means to have Sola Scriptura which Scripture may not be the only authority but the final authority because when God says it - you have to do it! 2nd Peter 2:5- says the following which will really refute Pope Francis: 5 God did not spare the ancient world, but brought the flood on the world of godless people; the only ones he saved were Noah, who preached righteousness, and seven other people. 6 God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, destroying them with fire, and made them an example of what will happen to the godles...

Catholic Priestly "Holy" Sex Scandals Are No Less Sinful Than Abortion

Image
Selective justice? Well, that seems to be the issue with Roman Catholic sex scandals. I'm amazed at how George Pell would dare address the World Youth Day delegates that priestly sex scandals are supposed to be "less sinful" than abortion. This should be a very questionable claim when you consider that both of them are wrong . Abortion is murder and I don't deny it destroys life. Yet, how many lives have been destroyed by priests "saving souls" by raping altar boys and women? What's even worse is that some Roman Catholics still insist priests save souls even after one "holy" scandal after the other.  Save lives, save souls, stop abortion? What about saving lives, saving souls, stopping abortion, and stopping those priestly scandals? It's really hypocrisy at its finest when a pastor catches a scandal, some Roman Catholics trumpet it out loud, and may even use it to evangelize people to their side. I don't deny the scandals of the Hyles...

Yes There Are Evangelical Scandals Involving Pastors But I've Got Some Objections

It's typical to trumpet the sins of a pastor who has sinned while they would hide the sins of the Roman Catholic priest. It's expected that a pastor who fails to be a good example should be removed from the pastorate. I don't deny that there are indeed pastors who are involved in foolishness.  However, let me cite some objections that should be heard. The objectives are as follows: No Evangelical leader ever claimed to be the infallible "Vicar of Christ" or a savior of the souls of men. If any Protestant pastor claims similar titles or claims that he can save the souls of sinners then he is automatically labeled as a  false  preacher.   Evangelical leaders who fall into scandalous sin (or doctrinal error) are usually given their immediate chastising by their church or  exposed  as false preachers. It just reminds me of how pastors who have well-documented sex scandals are usually listed as such. Not to mention, some so-called Evangelical lead...

Do Catholic Priests Really Save the Souls of Sinners?

Image
Roman Catholicism's salvation is dependent on faith plus works rather than salvation by faith alone. They have had the accusation that the doctrine of eternal security creates a license to sin. Another doctrine that has been devilishly invented to enslave Roman Catholics from the truth is that priests supposedly "save" souls. But can they? Can mere men save the souls of men who are destined to eternal Hell? Well, according to Rome, yes they could. The Roman Catholic institution has the doctrine that the priests save through the sacraments. Yet, nobody can keep all the sacraments. If you're getting married then you can't participate in the holy orders. If you're becoming a priest then you can't get married. How can you keep all seven? The sacraments are ended up used as the root rather than the fruit of salvation. The Protestant sacraments of baptism and the Lord's supper are used for sanctification. Why do Protestants usually reject infant baptism...

Confess Your Sins to God Directly

Image
One of the biggest heresies of the Roman Catholic institution is that they say, "You can't be guaranteed that your sins are forgiven if you don't confess them to a priest." To justify it, they do have their rather faulty interpretation of binding and loosing. They also use James 5:16 which translates faults as sins in the Good News Translation (GNT) to justify the practice. However, confessing your sins one to another is like admitting you did something wrong to someone and being sorry for it. It's like if I lost my temper the other day then didn't I sin against certain people? I have to confess my sin to that person who I sinned against or to confess my sin to my authority figures to ease my guilt.  They say that they confess their sins to God through the priest. They would probably use the Old Testament portrait that the priests were human mediators between God and man back then. However, for every sin confessed, a clean animal without defects was offered....
